Rio de Janeiro II Necklace
Bold and vivid, this brilliant necklace is a captivating combination of orange coral, antique silver terra cotta and brass. The simple color scheme and bold pieces, make this artisan necklace a versatile and timeless classic. The unique fossil pendant is handmade in Greece from a mix of volcanic terra cotta clays and then heavily coated with pure silver and antiqued. This is the same process used for the other silver beads in the necklace. The large brass bicones are handmade in Cameroon using the ancient "lost wax" method of casting. This piece closes with a large brass lobster clasp and can be adjusted from 15 to 22 inches using the attached heavy brass rollo chain (extender).
