The pieces of coral are actual segments of bamboo coral from the South Pacific. Bamboo coral is naturally beige in color with a black underlayer which often shows through detailing the texture of their natural formations. Although dyed a lush red, these beads still maintain their natural appearance and texture. These coral segments will vary greatly from necklace to necklace as they are all natural and unique.

Handmade by people living in Cameroon, the brass bicone beads are individually made so each one is unique. They are antiqued, rough and inexact making them very exotic and ancient-looking. The distinct silver bead is made completely by the hand of incredibly skilled silversmiths from the Karen Hill Tribes in the mountains of northern Thailand. The beads are hammered and etched, or sculpted into shapes, often emulating natural objects. These particular beads are also antiqued.The distinctive styling has an earthy, handmade, artistic look and being completely handmade, no two pieces are the same.

Coral being natural and the beads handmade, no two necklaces will be alike. The style will be the same, but the materials will vary. The shorter strand of the necklace is 14", adjustable to 19" and it closes with a spring ring clasp.
